    Default White-winged Dove Portrait

Another image from Elephant Head. Many of the birds I saw there I can also see in my own backyard. Clean looks (on anything but a yard wall) and green BGs are a different story at my house though.

This is perfection. I love the shot, everything about it. Can i just ask what is meant by "blind" in your settings. Did you crop much?

Wonderful Portrait. Sweet and simple. Fine perch, BG and details as well as exposure.

Thanks Vikram! A blind is also known as a hide. It's basically a pop-up tent that conceals the photographer. This is a vertical crop from horizontal, and is most of the full frame.

Hi Doug, great pose and HA here, which in turn shows off that lovely colourful eye. Good DOF, sharp, and I like the perch. The dove pops nicely against the darker BG.

Great techs, pose and eye contact! A bit big in the frame for me though.
