    Hi Joel....these guys can be tough to get a good exposure on their head...at least for me.....You did a great job with this image....beautiful bg and a good sense of light. I might try toning down the top of the birds head just a bit if it were mine. Nice work! I like it alot

    Talk about gesture, this is really a strong picture Joel. There are opportunities with the perch but like it as presented - this picture has character.

    Hi Joel, love this bird! Great pose and image. Love the colors and pose. Technically excellent as always. Gorgeous background, those colors are amazing too. I'm on the fence regarding the spider webs... While they are natural and not visually obtrusive, I wonder what the image might look like without them.

    I have no idea how you manage to hand-hold this 500mm and still manage to nail a sharp image of a swallow from a boat. Yet you did it. Awesome job.

    I took many images with shutter speed as fast as possible and deleted 95% so I ended up with a only few sharp ones
