    Default Gulls In Flight action

I snapped these two gulls in flight scrapping over food. They tend to fly quite randomly when they are fighting over food so i was a bit lucky to get a few frames. Unfortunately, did not manage to get both birds as sharp as i would have liked. Probably should have used a higher f-number at the expense of shutter speed and also tried to track the bird in front.

    Any C&C welcome.

Nice action, but ditto on your own critique. You had enough SS to go for more DOF if this is the type of image you were anticipating or hoping for.

Nice action capture here. Love the pose on the nearest bird. You probably didn't need the 1/6400th of a second speed and could therefore have gone for more DOF. Like the way you have placed the birds in the frame and they look good against the blue sky.

    Thanks Daniel.
Thanks Marina, I agree 1/6400 was probably a bit much, I should have gone for a higher f-number.

Vikram, good self critique...if light is good and BG is sky, 'stop down' is a good thumb rule to follow. excellent moment.
