    Great shot. Small birds in flight are really hard to get right but this one is excellent.

    The translucent feathers are spectacular on this bird, have never seen that on a Kingbird before. What was the lighting like?

    Alan, this image just rocks. The pose, extended feathers, translucent feathers, head turn, perfect head turn and killer BG just put this one over the top.
