    Photographed this river tern on the Island of Texel (Netherlands) in june 2010.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark III
    EF 500 IS L + 1,4 TC
    Gitzo Tripod +Viedeo Head

    60% Crop Of FF

    F 8 / 1/1600 sec / ISO 400

    Processed in Canon DPP+ PS CS 5 levels, curves ,LCE, sharpening

    Why doesn't the thumbnail show up in the gallery? Love the action with the chicks here of course! Perfectly timed capture.

    Spectacular! I wish the chicks were seperated more but this is one fine image! Good for you Andreas.

    This is lovely Andreas. I think you should buy a membership so that the thumbnail shot comes up in the avian home page. By doing so ,a lot more people would look at your images. It is $20.00 well spent!
    I love the chicks and the diagonal line created by the rocky shore. I might boost the contrast just a bit on the adult tern as the black head looks a bit washed out.

    Alan the location did not allow other angle of shooting.movement is very much restricted,so you have to take it as it is.
