This is a Four Spotted Chaser I took at my local pond. Taken with Canon 30D, 24-70mm Sigma lens, F 10, 1/15 ISO 100.

I really like the dew on the dragon fly! The color and sharpness of it are very nice as well!

I really like the delicacy and colors of this dragonfly. The very out-of-focus background is effective. If there were one thing I could wish for it would be that there were a little more contrast between the tip of the tail and the plant stem. Overall, very nice indeed.

Hi Mat. You nailed this one! Lovely light, excellent sharpness throughout, all the water drops are a big plus, and I love the OOF background of a wetland with emergent vegetation. Outstanding!

Great job with this one, Mat! Everything really came together on this one and those water drops take it over the top!

Good sharpness and details. Colors and water drops are very nice. I like the wet BG. I even would have liked more water highlights on the BG. Well done.

I like this overall. The only thing I would have done is move around a bit to make the background more even (none of the very bright area at right), although I realize at this position you were perfectly parallel to the subject. I still like the image alot, and the dew drops reall add to it.
