    Really alot to like here. Nice exposure and DOF. Good HA on both and synchronized stepping is cool too! Nice low angle, all in all very well done

    Ian,

    Nice job getting the pair in focus did you use single sensor and where was the placement. Joel comments are spot on and the image has a great feel and is pleasing to view - what more can a photographer do!!!

    Jeff, this was a single AF point on the lower part of the breast of the bird to the viewer's left. Thanks for asking because your question made me go back to DPP (which I never use) and figure out how to find that information. Now I know how! The image was taken just after mating.

    Hi Ian, all good comments above. I would add two thoughts - I see sharpening haloes, and I think a slight step to your right would have allowed for a bit of separation between the birds which would make for a stronger image.
