I used four Topaz filters on this image - Adjust, Star Effects, Simplify, and Lens Effects. Base image captured at the LA County Arboretum, on the way back to the parking lot.

The processing on this is excellent. Love the Simplify treatment on the bushes and flowers. That tree is awesome..................what a fun image. Super coloring. I can't quite figure the light direction and sun placement.........no matter. nice work, Kerry.

Nice work, Kerry; so much to feast on, with the blend of color, shadow and texture..I might have brushed back in a slight bit of detail in the peacock, but that's a matter of personal taste. Jay makes a good point about sun/light angle, but he also makes a good point..in this case, no matter...it works!

Fun, creative image Kerry! The sun burst was a good idea. Ditto the angle noted above and again it doesn't seem to matter in this image.

Beautiful composition, Kerry! Really like the dappled light, rich color, and texture to tree and fallen leaves is very pleasing. Like the sun burst too. Nice touch with filtering, it does have an enchanted, magical feel to it.

Kerry, what a beautiful scene you captured here. I like everything except the ring around the outside of the sunburst. I wonder if you could clone or erase a bit of that effect so it left just the radiant beams and not the circular connection between them?

That peacock directly across from the bright red flowers is gorgeous!

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

Good thing you gave up on the trees and flowers and headed home when you did! Neat Tree!

I really like the composition and colors of this image! It has a "pow!" effect. I love how the Peacock is framed by the curving tree trunk and the red lilies. Strong and bold. Good use of Topaz filters. Agree with Jules about the ring around the sun-burst. Wonderful, vibrant, dynamic image.
