Hi Stuart,

If you are used to sharp glass this will leave you disappointed. I've found you pretty much need to shoot at f8 all the time for a decent amount of sharpness. It's best range is from about 35-200mm. Basically I found it alright for a "snapshot" lens but not much else. I ended up replacing it with the 24-120mm f4 VR which is a lot better.

Having said all that I do have a couple images on my wall made with this lens, but obeying the rules of thumb above.
