Default Mount Everest/Himalays-A birds eye view

    Camera Canon EOS 7D
    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)
    Aperture f/10.0
    Focal Length 100 mm
    ISO Speed 100
    Exposure Bias 0 EV
Shot this from an aircraft window with the 100-400 L lens hand held aboard the New Delhi-Gauhati Flight. Maybe I should have toned down the blues, or maybe converted it in to B&W.

Hi Sanjeev, a great view. I might take a little off the top if it were mine and perhaps add a light touch of Nik Software's 'tonal contrast' filter. I like this as presented, but also agree with you that it would probably make a lovely B&W image also.

    Hello Sanjeev

Very envious of this view... Quite magnificent... I agree with Andrew that you could take a little more off the top, But I too like it as presented. Thanks for sharing this..

Thanks Don, appreciate your kind words. I did not expect such sharp pic with the combo in a cramped economy flight Was very happy to get this shot.
    Cheers

Sanjeev - you did well out the window of the plane. Agree with suggestion to crop a bit from top.

I too agree with the top crop suggestion - otherwise expertly handled. B&W a great option too. Blue (cold) tones I expect so AOK, but might be cool to color balance it to white on the snow.

Awesome scene and well captured here out of the window :) Here I agree with Morks on the BW as an option. May I suggest some of Roberts LCE , (usm 20/50/0) on the colour version TFS
