Custom functions back up to CF?

Hi

Is it possible to back up your camera's menu settings and custom function settings to computer or CF card? I am getting error messages on my 7D and want to trouble shoot (reset to factory settings etc) before sending it in for repair.

I checked if there were any options in the EOS Utility software, but couldn't find such a function. Looks like you'll have to enter them manually.
