This was taken at my backyard set up. The BG is an OOF lilac bush and distant red maple. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

OK, that settles it. I'm coming to your backyard. The background is delicious and I love the way that it compliments the color of the perch. Love the bird from the bill to the feet. A real beauty, Jim.

Lovely shot very nice pose and perch, the exposure and details are equally good. I am just wondering if a tad more sharpening would not go amiss on the rear of the head region.

Hi Jim, super comp and pose, and nice and sharp where it counts. Interesting mixture of colours throughout the image, and Grace is on the button with regards to the perch complimenting the BG. Great capture.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and comments. Grace, Daniel and Marina the backyard is waiting for you. The first couple of weeks in May are a special time. The birds are every where. There were five different Orioles on the day this image was taken.
