Found this Nuthatch while looking for Pileated WP just as a ray of sun peaked through the forest canopy.

Almost my favorite bird, the perfect pose, it seems a bit soft.

nice pose and the prey item adds more, agree with a tad more sharpening.

Sweet image with nice composition.I like the pose of the bird.
Very nice image with bird in classic pose. Amazing how they decend the trunk holding on with that rear spur. I like the prey in it's beak too.
Classic nuthatch pose. Natural prey and clean background make this one extra nice. I could see a bit more sharpening, but not much.
I like the pose, prey and composition. I would sharpen the image some more too. Well done Carmelo!
Beautiful portrait, great pose and colours.
I love the insect prey, not often we see that in images of nuthatches. The face looks sharp to me. I'd prefer 1/3 less tree, and 1/3 more space in front of the subject...very subjective though.
Very nice shot. I really the pose, great background, and great timing on getting it with its meal.
Well done.
