    D300 100mm lens f8 1/10 sec iso 400 backlit blue and white paper used vivasa 2 to darken background used detail in capture. It was a dead and dying dandy and thought it had more potential than a good one

    Grahame, I like the composition and the subtle colors in the bg. I love the floating seed pods (and your title). I'd like more room at the bottom so they have more space to float into. The image is a bit small to be able to see the details (can you increase the size?).

    Grahame, Nice job with adding a bit more space. I might add some noise reduction to just the background. I love the little "parachutes" floating downward. The back lighting looks good. I think the original post has more contrast near the center - it appears a bit sharper. Nice eye for this one Grahame.

    The slight tilt of the stem, and the falling fluffies make this an interesting image. The bg is nicely done. I like the added canvas in the 2nd post. I think you were wise to pick a dying dandelion.

    Nicely seen, Grahame, like the floating seed pods, BG, and natural color They look like they are falling, but at 1/10 were they sticking to eachother? Repost work nice - adding the canvas below was a good suggestion.
