It's a tight crop, but I like the feather detai and the reflection. Where was this shot?

Beautiful image Karl! I like the wing position, flowing mane, sharpness, reflection and BG.

Thanks Robert. Yes, it is. It is almost full frame.

These guys have such attitude. I like the background color you have with this bird and nice feathers.

Wild look Karl, the Egret is full of attitude. The tight crop works really well here, that look is awesome.

Sweet pose! Lot's of drama and coming right at the viewer....lots of visual impact.
Looks like you extended the canvas on the right and on the top...and it looks pretty
    obvious imo......

Hi Karl, the un-symmetrical wing position looks like he's directing traffic - and I like it - different. I like the head on capture, eye contact, and overall, nice and sharp. If anything, I would run a touch of NR on the BG.

    Hi Karl,
I love the pose. I see what Shawn is referring to and you just need to smooth the line down. After I add canvas and clone in whatever I need to clone in, I always zoom in at 100% and scroll down the "seam" to make sure I have blended everything in. I am always amazed by areas that look perfect at normal view but once zoomed in have obvious lines present.
You have a nice BG as well.
Kind of neat how different out 2 images are- yours is dark and mine is light.
