    Default Relaxing in the sun

I visited a local pond in Pretoria on saturday, and although the action was a bit quiet, I did manage to get this Reed Cormorant showing off his wings. I positioned myself so the cormorant was against a distant large tree. If I had moved any more, left or right, I would have had half sky and half tree. The BG was as shot in terms of being completely OOF.

Wonderful shot Stuart. I really like the pose and great head angle. Very nice background, excellent feather detail, and very well composed.
    Well done.
