    Default Green hummingbird

It is been a while since I posted here, but I'm starting again.
Begin with some pictures I took in Curacao on a holiday in January.

    Thijs:

Lovely little fellow, all the colors work well together , effective lighting, sharp, simple (which is good). NIce head angle.

I like the small in frame idea, shows how small he is. I might consider a small crop from the right to move him onto the rule of thirds point, which I do find useful for small in frame shots like this.

    Cheers

I like your composition and I really like the perch. The rolled stem adds nice lines. Good look at the little feet. great smooth BG. maybe go a touch brighter ( but i am on my cheap laptop at the cottage so I may be wromg about the brightness)

Hi Thijs, nicely posed on top of the reed perch, and the HB is nice and sharp. Good to see the coloured iridescence on the top of the head, and agree to move him to the ROT's.

Sweet and simple. If I cropped from the right I would also crop some off the bottom.
