    Nice soft background and overall a good lightening. Except for the highlights on the pole (?) the bird sits on.

    Hi Sanjeev, the pose works well, and although the blacks are on the head and chest are on the border of showing detail, I would try and bring them out a little more. I would also try another round of sharpening too. Great BG.

    Thanks Thijs, James and Stuart. The bird is perched on the pole of a hammock. This was outside my room at The Serai resort, Kabini river back waters, Karnataka, India. I agree it needs another round of sharpening.

    Stu has the best suggestion: the BLACKs need to be opened up a bit. If the birds land in that spot often you might try topping it off with a wooden perch of some sort whether a log or a branch....

    Thanks for the advice Artie, Will work on the blacks in the image. I plan to buy the Digital Basics file from the BAA site. Hope that covers Photoshop and breeze Browser etc in it.
