Hi Ian, nice stilt - I like these birds a lot. The image feels bright to me, I think you could have gone higher on the shutter speed. Good details in the blacks but the brightest parts of the face and neck are too toasty for my eye. Does the image need a slight CCW rotation? I have a hard time with that sometimes.

Thanks. Yes, looking at the shoreline in the BG, I think I tiny bit of CCW is in order. When I worked on this image in CS5, no white that I could find was > 251. Maybe that's too high?

Hi Ian.....the whites look Ok on my monitor....nice pose and composition....the sharpness on the beak is tack....I might try adding just a bit of saturation and perhaps a vignette
