    Always exciting to come across such a subject! I too thought the owl looked dark...Ofer's repost brings it up nicely. Some fill-flash would have been good. I know some are against using flash for owls, but if within your personal ethics this would be something to think about next time.

    I like this shot better than the first Robert. Ofers' tweeks look good. If you can, keep going back for different angles and backgrounds, it would be great if you could get a shot of the owl at eye level.
