American Robin in Central Park, NYC
With robins all over the park this past weekend, I couldn't resist grabbing a few shots of this robin stalking its lunch. C&C much appreciated!

Rhys:
Great angle, sharp, well exposed. Nice eye.
Perhaps a sliver more room on the right if you have it.
The head is probably turned a sliver away, but still works for me.
Cheers

Hi Rhys, you must of been pretty low to capture this fellow at his eye level, and its works for me. The head is nice and sharp, and maybe a higher ISO would have allowed you to stop down to get more DOF on the wings of the Robin.

Nice intimate view of the foraging behaviour. Light was harsh, but exposed best you could...I'd investigate brightening up the shaded part of the breast, it may be worth it. A couple of minor points would be to eliminate the grass seedhead poking in at right edge (or having more of it by adding canvas at right if you have it), and perhaps also removing the small debris on the robin's head. I'm OK with the dirty bill...shows its been hard at work probing for worms or grubs!
