Great capture showing a wonderful HA and open wings. The background as mentioned is beautiful. I also like the muddy feet.

No way man, not boring at all!! Keep them coming. Usual perfect techs, and a beauty of a background. Mud on the feet is a neat addition.

The mud on the feet is what makes this image so nice. Great topside view and lovely BG. Tack sharp and amazing IQ as always!

Great stuff! Crop/composition is a bit tight. Nice to be able to get that close though.

    Light quality is excellent.
    Love the background transitions.
Subject placement in regards to the comp. looks spot on.
Does not look "tack sharp" to me, particularly in the larger version. Still, nice job with the sharpening...tastefully done.

It looks razor sharp to me, hasn't been sharpened much at all so I am not sure what you mean by "nice job with sharpening" a soft image cannot be made sharp with sharpening maybe it's your monitor but thanks for comments any way. I don't post soft images.

    Arash,

I've made a few dozen comments on your fine images on NSN over the past couple of years. The lion's share have been razor sharp.
It's interesting to me that you never commented about my "monitor" when I was heaping out the praise....I'm still using the same
monitor BTW. Maybe for you, there is only razor sharp and soft. For me, there is a range in between. I find this image to fall well
within the range of acceptably sharp, just not tack sharp. I see some fine motion blur.....We can agree to disagree, but respectfully,
there is nothing "wrong with my monitor".

Thanks for your comments Shawn, The image does not show motion blur on my monitor and to my eyes, except for the top of the far wing. That's why I asked maybe it's your monitor. Some monitors especially laptop screens are not suitable for evaluating critical sharpness. If there was motion blur catch-light would show it. But thanks for the comments/concerns. I am open to all comments and criticism but for the purpose of learning I also express my thoughts when I don't find a comment accurate/relevant, otherwise I agree. It is not personal.

Unlike NSN, this forum is for critique and learning not sugar coating so it's great that you expressed your thoughts. Thanks

I am viewing from my 17" iMac, it looks sharp except the top of the far wing.
