    Not as powerful as the last one of this bird (Royal Tern?) but still . . .

    The sad thing about it is as I worked through the images of this bird, I noticed that at the start there was no blood, but apparently he got poked or cut by the hook along the way and there is some blood underneath.

    I'm thinking about this as a contest entry so I left it un-cropped.

    These images always tug at my heart.....and this one is no different. Yet another example of man's carelessness. For we presentation, I'd still do a little cropping. Well done.

    I see this more and more every day. Too bad they end up like this but it just seems inevitable.
