I used Topaz Clean and Topaz Adjust on this, adjusting opacities and then selectively erasing. Oh, and had to throw in some Asian flare! C&C welcome.

Dan, I really like your choice of filters - it almost has a chrome effect. And of course I love the Asian flairAt first, I thought the extra leaf in the LLC was distracting but I think it adds a bit of serendipity so I like it.

Dan, I like the Asian flair too and if you would agree to judge for us again I'd love to add it to our upcoming weekly theme list.
Beautiful original capture, the metallic application is light and well done.
Dan, this is a strong graphic image, with the perfect subject for the processing you've applied. I've come back to it about a half-dozen times before commenting; I have debated on the leaves in the LRC and whether or not the metallic effect may have been better served in that area of the image by masking and lowering the opacity on them just a bit...I'm still undecided!Great capture of the kite in a dynamic pose...wonderful color in the eye...the light gray background compliments the image beautifully. Well done!
Thanks, folks! I like the little leaf also. Denise, count me in for the Asian week! Just give a heads up!
Great!
Beautiful composition, Dan. I love the balancing pose and the look. Very nice processing!
