One of the new birds for me while in Texas. One of Alan Murphy's/Brian Small's best workshops.

Hi Joe, well exposed on the kingbird, and a good pose and HA. The comp is balanced with the flower buds on the left, and I like the open flowers. The BG works well, and you cant go wrong with this setting.

Excellent composition and exposure. The white on the bird and the yellow flowers are done just right.

Beautifully done, and I like the yellow flower reflecting it's colour on the kingbird's chest. Not crazy about the broken stub left of that flower and I'd perhaps add another small dose of sharpening to the face, but all in all a very strong image with excellent colours!

    Very nice image.
    The setup is almost perfect.
I hope you don't mind that I took the liberty and removed the not so good part of the perch.
I selected it with quick selection tool.
Then I went to; select radius +1.
    Then; select, expand +3.
Then I used delete content aware and it was gone.
It took no more than half a minute.

    Hey Joe,

It was great to have you join us this year. Alan and I really enjoyed the workshops and this set up was one of our favorites.............you captured it beautifully and the processing looks good ;-)
