Had another go with my new toy this morning,was after ring ouzels,but had to settle for wheatear,cannon 500mm IS L,7D,tripod,at 700mm,crop,sharpening,.comments good or bad,thanks.

Hi Chris, good eye level capture, and the wheatear is nice and sharp. Great BG. Comp wise, I would take a touch off the bottom, and at least half off the top. I feel your crop is a touch too squarish, but others may see it differently.

Nice pose with just enough head turn. Good clean comp, but I agree with stuart's crop suggestion...especially the top.
