    Interesting bird, quite long legged. Neat markings on the face area, and I like the sloping perch. I'm wondering if you have some more details to extract in those blacks? I'd also crop some from the top (perhaps about 1/3 off).

    Fine shot Sanjeev. Like the profile. you were probably too close for a verticle FF shot. The colors and contrast and exposure spot on. Any specific reason behind F 9.0?

    Thanks Daniel and Amol, I could extract some more detail in the blacks, will try it as i shot this in raw. Agree with the cropping, taking the top 1/3rd off may put more emphasis on the bird. Amol, I used f/9 as the SS was fast enough at that Av, and to keep the DOF so that the entire bird is in focus.
