    Hello to all of you!

Here is a shot taken two weeks ago. This bird gave us such a great show time! This is one of my favorites.

    Canon EOS 7D Canon IS 600 mm 1:4,0 + TC 2X III - 1/500s f/8.0 iso800 Full Frame

C & C are welcome and thanked in advance!

Absolutely killer pose, light and colors here. The water is just awesome and you have a nice HA and low shooting angle. The only thing I can say is that I would have liked to see some more details in the grebe's face.

Beautiful colors and a great pose. I wish the birds' face and chest were sharper.

    Yves:

    Great colors, pose,exposure.

The sharpness does hold it back. The primaries look a bit sharper to me than the face and chest area.

You were working with a lot of focal length, which isn't very tolerant!

    Cheers

agree with others. but you were pushing it...I'd have done the same. great great pose and low angle. I really hope Canon comes with up a crop camera where you can push the iso further to get that extra SS needed in shots like this one.
