    Default Wading the waves!

Another image from Morro Bay... the Snowy was wading the waters when a large wave forced it fly away. For processing used multiple layers of fract/glow 100 and masks to paint over and create the effect. Hope you like it...

Hi Indranil, I love the fract effect on the water and the breaking wave. The pose of the egret is nice as well. I wonder if the blues need to brightened up just a touch.

I love what fract does with the waves. Very nice, Indranil. It's difficult to judge, but I think it could use just a tiny CW rotation.

Andrew, Maureen, Thanks. I appreciate it. Yes, it did need a bit of CW rotation. I have also brightened the blues....

I love the fract effects on the water and egret and I love the colors in the repost.

Hi Indranil; I like the overall image...the processing on the waves in the background particularly, and the delicate curve and color fo the egret...for me, the foreground waves, as processed, and a competing element...I wonder if masking back a hint of detail to them would aid in the balance. That's just my opinion...it's your vision!...some food for thought. Loving the wealth of egret images in the forum!

I like both images. Hard to decide between them. Lovely work. The Egret is in just the right position. The touches of yellow are a nice contrast. I think Fractilus is an acquired taste. I'd go with a bit less in the waves, as mentioned above, but, I also like how you did it. Many possibilities with the base image.

Indranil, I love the image design and fractalius effect. Maybe a sliver more room on top.

I love it. I can't understand the process but hope to someday. I like the original post best (except for the rotation). The brighter blue competes with the egret so I prefer the softer blues.
