    To celebrate John Audubon's 227th birthday, Audobon has put their iPad/iPhone/Android Field Guide for NA Birds on sale for $.99. The usual price is $4.99 so it's a nice discount.

    Check the Apple App Store or Android Market (I refuse to call it the silly new name, Google Play)

    I got it. Be aware that the database download is around 500 MB. So be sure to use a wifi connection instead of 3G.
