Taken in Galveston while out with Alan Murphy and Brian Small. First of this species for me , so I am a happy camper.

Very rich colors and a sweet pose and perch. I really like color variation in the bkgrnd. Yellows look a little hot on my monitor.

Hi Joe, well placed in the frame looking into space, and this fellow certainly has a variety of colours. Sharp where it counts, and the smooth BG works well.

Thanks to all. The colors may be a bit over saturated as this was processed on my laptop , which as you all know can sometimes be a bit funky.

Joe, Gorgeous image! I love the image design, perch and pose. Agree with saturation but that is a minor fix! Congrats on the capture!

Delightful. Great pose. Sharp around the eye. A wonderful composition and full of vibrant color. Reminds me of the Rainbow lorikeets in color here in Australia.

Super shot, Joe. I'm really envious. Great comp, perch and bg, and spectacular colors even if slightly oversaturated.
