    Taken at Willie Retreat 80 klm north of Warren NSW and apart from excellent birding on this wildlife retreat with accommodation and camping is midway along the western edge of Macquarie Marshes. The Striated Pardalote is widespread throughout Australia with variation resulting in six races.Two other species are found on the mainland the Spotted and the Red-browed while a forth species the Forty Spotted Pardalote is endemic to Tasmania

    Hi Rod, I like the variety of colours on this guy, and although a difficult BG, you have managed to separate the bird nicely. Well placed in the frame too.
