These are cute, tiny little guys, I was happy to get one out sort of in open.

    Nice one Dan!

These little guys can be really quite feisty at this time of the year as they claim their territory! Nice clear shot, and I really like the open bill / calling pose! And the tail up! Because they are so small and we end up shooting them at such short distances, DOF is a challenge, but it is nice and sharp where it matters.

    Thanks,

    Gerald

Nice one, sharp, love the tail...a beauty, I might have cropped out the OOF reeds on the right

Excellent capture,Dan , of a fast moving little guy. I like the cocked tail , head angle and calling posture.Sharp where it counts , but yes , DOF is a challenge when shooting close. Reeds on right are a bit distracting.

Very sharp around the eye including the nice addition of open bill. I can understand the difficult nature of capturing these tiny fast moving birds. So well done. Love to see some more DOF.

Hi Dan, well timed to get the open beak with the calling pose, and tack sharp where it counts. The cocked tail adds interest, and toning down the reeds in the BG will work.
