    Another posting of this beautiful bird

    In this image created in the garden at Loco Natural the HA is much better.

    I have reduced the impact of the BG and the unfortunate vertical tree by using Gaussian blur, blur and levels adjustments
    eye lightened a little by levels. Also put 1 point of black into bird with SC and +5 contrast, crop about 50, was shot as a vertical

    7D 100-400 eV -.33 F5.6 iso 800 1/250 from tripod on house deck

    I like the head angle, and the BG would be pretty nice if not for the tree behind the bird. I'd push the exposure on the bird a little further to the right.

    Hi Doug, thanks for comment exposure in camera was very good , I messed up somewhere in processing as with the Avocet
