    Default Burrowing Owl

Hello everyone. About a month or so when I found this owl I decided to place perch by its burrow for it to perch on. Everytime I would see it on the perch I would try to approach it, but always jumped off. Well after many, many, many tries. I finally was able to get it on the perch and shoot a couple of frames. Hope you enjoy.

Sharp, well exposed, really like the perch and seeing those great feet! Nice background, only wish the eyes were open a little more.

I too would like a bit more eyes open, I am sure you will get one.

Well done, Robert. Great idea for the perch. So many shots of these guys have their feet obscured by vegetation around their burrows, and you solved that problem nicely. I might have been tempted to cut just a slivver off the perch at the bottom, and add a corresponding slivver to the top. But aside from that, an outstanding shot.
