    Hi There

Shot of "Othello" the African Fish Eagle swooping down and grabbing some food from the surface of what doubles for an extensive African lake :D.

I have tried on many ocassions to get a shot of this part of his display but generally miss the moment, or he is covered by his wings, or its out of focus...

I was however pleased with this one.... decided to crop to a pano as I feel it works well with the capture.

Even though this isn't one of my favorite images that you've posted......I have to admit that it had to be tough to get. Great action and I love the water splashing. I don't think there's as much detail in this one as others......probably due to the small size of the bird in the pano. It's definitely still a wonderful keeper.

    Hi Lana

There is detail there, it is I think just difficult to see because of the size and format of the image. I post below a bigger crop of "Othello" to hopefully show you what i mean.

I had a deep feeling that this was an image that had to be enjoyed and appreciated at a much larger size. You certainly confirmed my suspicion.......wonderful detail when shown. I'll bet that pano in a wall size version would be awesome. After viewing this I don't know what I want more......the MkIII or the 300mm F/2.8.

    Hi John,
this is a picture, that is really hard to get!
I tried it some times, but was not lucky by now....
I agree, that we should see it in a larger version.
    Like the details!

    Big Congrats!
