Nice one! You could sell berries with this shot. If I were you I might alert one of the Texas berry organizations...money in the bank...
Lovely color and detail, truly impressive...
Striking image, Alan. Excellent IQ great perch and background. Love the inquisitive look on his face.
Great shot....especially since I know a little on whats involved since I just received your cd, which
is also fantastic.

Great capture of a special moment ,Alan.Love the comp , HA and the clean bg.
Very special. The colors of the bird and berries are a beautiful match. Detail, bg and pose with ha all fantastic. A pleasure to view.
Alan, another signature shot. loved the berries. exposure control, image design, BG...all excellent as always.
This sure looks a lot better than the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks I tried to photograph at Ft DeSoto a few days under not such controlled circumstances. This capture is outstanding. The only change I would make is to take a tad off the bottom (removing the partial berries) and adding some on top. His head looks a tad cramped. Happy shooting!!!
The combination of berry in mouth and broken berry on the perch is super cool.
WOW!! Excellent shot. Love the perch, light and background. Excellent pose too.
Well done.
Beautiful bird and fruit!
Now that you have had the D800 for a bit, how does it compare to the D4?

So pretty bird, light and the fact that is eating makes for a very natural and compelling image.

super Alan
