    Cool moment captured. I particularly like the flying berry and shape of the tongue. More head turn would have put it over the top.

    Excellent image Jody...only a better head turn could improve it. P.S. I am certain this is a Cedar waxwing though...(lack of any wing markings and the white inner edge of tertials are the biggest clues)

    Gorgeous! I'd kill the one little bit of red that is in the extreme lower right corner where your copyright is. Really nice image with the berry suspended like that!

    Oh, man! This is so, so sweet. The BKGR is so, so soft and the berry flight is amazing. You might consider getting rid of the tiny bit of berry near the tip of the upper mandible... I am fine with the head angle and the tounuge is simply amazing. There are so, so many great images being posted here right now that it is scary...

    Almost forgot to mention how much I love the stems on the branch too!
