    Default Cattle Egret

This one was taken under cloudy skies. I like the way it turned out just not sure about the crop. Let me kn ow what you think.

    Mike:

A big welcome to BPN. You will find it a great place to learn and grow as a nature photographer.

A handsome individual here, in fine breeding colors.

Soft light allowed worked well here with good detail in the whites. I like the white flowers in the LLC as a counterpoint to the white bird

Because of the birds direction of gaze, I would give a bit more room on the left if you have it.

Be sure to include your camera/lens information and any post processing done. That really helps us understand the creation of the image.

You can post images 1024 horiz. and 800 vert. The larger images also allow better critiques.

Again, welcome to BPN, and I look forward to more! Be sure to comment on other folks images. It helps trains your eye and fosters a sense of community as well.

    Cheers

    Randy

Hey Mike, Here's a huge welcome and thanks a stack for your membership support. I like the image but like Randy would love to see it 800 high. I am fine with the framing and love the fact that you have framed carefully at the bottom; many folks clip the toes in a situation like this.
