Very beautiful Dove - one I haven't seen before. You have caught the soft colors and fine detail very nicely - love those irridescent coverlets!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Gerald

Thanks guys...Ram you know I felt the same after processing, but I rechecked the RAW and it was sharp as the beak is sharp even in the posted version..>Not sure why!

Really nice photo; like the perch and detail on the bird. I sometimes really prefer back/look backs they show interesting bird bits!
Its a really nicely colored image, and not overprocessed; BG is very complimentary and clean.
Checked in my early copy of Robert's; was called Green spotted in those days 70 - 80's, though I dont remeber seeing this species in the wild

Dumay, I liked this image design a lot. perfect head position. Awesome details on the perch and bird. Head does look a bit soft..but might be just the feather texture. Your images always have sweet BG.

This is a lovely shot and a beautiful bird. Colours are superb and I see no significant issue with sharpness or detail on the head. I like the perch except the twig which covers some of the bird's lower feathers but it is still a top drawer image, good for any book or wall.
