    Default Rosescape III

Another in the series of roses...180mm, f/22@1/25. RAW image processed in LR; Topaz Detail, NIK Color Range Contrast, Fractalius on a very low opacity layer, Topaz Simplify. All of the layers were at fairly low opacity with the exception of Topaz Simplify (Buzz Simm). Still looking to emulate Georgia O'Keefe's style..not sure I'm there yet! Then again..it took her until she was well into her 80's...I've got time.

You've got some great subjects, John, and you're working them well. I especially like the composition of this one.

John, this is beautiful. I like the composition, the yellow glow in the folds and the slight fractalius.

Agree. When I first opened it, I thought, this is the best one so far. I think it is the color glow but also the fullness. Sharp, too. Well done.

John. Another lovely rose! I might clean up the LLC if it were mine. I love the glow color too!

Denise, thank you for your comment...RE the LLC...are you talking about the small, "stray" bit of petal in the very corner of the frame?

I think you're honing in on Georgia! I saw her work at a gallery in San Francisco once and she's been a favorite of mine ever since. You've done a beautiful job emulating her work.
