    This image was made from 2 photographs, one focused on the female and the other focused on the male. Otherwise just routine PS processing. I wasn't sure about the Out Of The Box placement, but here it is.
    Photographed last week in Portland, OR, using Nikon D300, 200-400 lens at 400 mm, f4, 1/125, Matrix metering at -.67

    Well if its been made from a composite, it must fit in here and very clever you I must say, because I can't tell. Excellent work and result in that case. Impressive shots and nothing but the best of composites.

    Nice work on merging the two Sarah. I can't tell.

    I would crop them tighter and if you have some more room in the rear of the original, add that back in.

    I have been messing with variable DOF merging too and appreciate how you made it turn out.

    Thanks for your comments. I added in some more on the left and cropped a bit. In so doing, I found a bit of the tail that wasn't right, so I fixed that too.
