Nice tender moment in what looks like fabulous light, Andreas...
Colour looks a bit too red, bordering on pink - I think adjusting WB more to the 'golden' side can help improve this a bit?
Might also tone down overall brightness to enhance fine detail.![]()
Another vote to correct the color cast. It would help improve the image considerably. Thanks for sharing.
Andreas - I know that the calves are called red doggies but these are a little too red. Should be easy to deal with in pp. Maybe another round of selective sharpening too.

Rachel
much better IMHO!

Hi Andreas, the RP is certainly much better, and I love the rich light you have captured within the image. Although I might not go beyond ISO1000 on the MKIII I think you need to watch your SS, as there is movement in the image when you look at the eyes of the calf & mother, they are not that crisp based on the OP, however I see you have applied some more sharpening which has helped.
If you can add FF or cropped and if so, roughly by how much also helps.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Hi Steve ,pic is FF.Do not understand what is SS and OP in your reply.and yes you are right the image is slightly motion blurred. The reason for this is i think ,by that time in 2009 i was not thinking that much about all the techs that comes with an sharp image.i feel sorry about that.
cheers Andreas
Thank you ,Morkel
As long as i ask and get answers i am fine.I like this forum very much and i hope all you guys do not think i am a stupid idiot who understand what is going on here.

Andreas,
Great image, I have never seen a Bison, so cannot really comment on the redness, but to my eye the repost looks better. My on;y real nit would be the loss of hooves as a result of the lower ground they are standing in
