    Default Back off!

This is the protective mum guarding her two 4 week old cubs.
I love the air bubble on her top teeth she's blowing us!

Marc - She certainly looks pi**ed off. The bubble is interesting, though I'm not sure I would have noticed it initially if you had not mentioned it. For me I think this is more about the sighting than the image as I find the comp and bg a bit busy.

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hi Marc,
I like the detail, your composition and the framing, a magic image.
    Best wishes,
    Mark.

Great subject, composition and framing. The harsh "spikiness" of the background branches and twigs really seem to complement the aggression of the welcome. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marc, I prefer this to the previous one based on content/framing and the sharpening looks also much better.

Curious, what provoked her to make such a display, as they are quite cool about vehicles & people?

Not this girl Steve, as she charged our vehicle.
I think the fact that the cubs were still very young had a lot to do with it.

Thanks Marc, a feisty girl and very protective too then, lets hope the cubs follow in her paw prints.

I like this one more than your previous posting from this sighting, Marc. Love the 'spit bubble' too...and the framing by the branches works well.
Sharpening on the face spot on for me.
