Not a great title, but the best I could do at the time... Captured at the amazing LA County Arboretum yesterday. Topaz Star Effects filter is the main story of this image.

Kerry, I like this image...the star effects add a subtle nuance to the capture. If it were mine, I might take a bit off the top...and I find myself wishing there was just more to see of the tail fan on either side of the beautiful peacock. Looking forward to more.

I think it's beautiful. I love the colors and pose of the bird. I might also take a little off the top to give it more balance.

Very nice capture, the composition is solid...almost looks like eyes, all looking in the direction of the peacocks body...Nice Work

Thank you for comments, I appreciate them! This image is full frame, and I composed it in-camera with the 400mm f/5.6 lens. Getting farther away was not an option, so I framed the image with the "eyes", so that they were showing all the way around the top part of the image.

Kerry, I recently had the good fortune to photograph these beautiues. The star effects are a very nice touch.

Hi Kerry, nice capture and the stars are a nice touch too. There are several peacocks wandering around the Toronto Zoo, but I seldom see them display their tail.
