Had the opportunity to take a macro workshop with Mike Moats this weekend in Orlando so i stopped at Gatorland in the morning to shoot first. I was happy with this shot of these two chicks. They have gotten so big in only a few weeks since my last visit. I also was lucky to finally meet our own Artie Morris. We had a good morning of shooting with a few nice opportunities. Nice meeting you Artie. Was it Hot or what? The only thing I had to do was overlay 2 yellow areas in the bg with a low opacity brushing. Once again my MIIIis in the shop so I shot with my 40 D and was pretty happy with my images.

    Cheryl:

Very fun image, nice mirror image poses, sharpness, exposure, BG.

Would make a fun Valentine's day card.

Lots can be done with a less than the top of the line camera! Its the person pushing the button!

    Congrats

Very well seen and executed, Cheryl. You used just the right amount of DOF to get both chicks sharp. Love the clean BG and the shapes and hairdos.

Beautiful image, Cheryl. Just love the symmetry, and the shape created between them. Great detail in the whites. Excellent job.

Hi Cheryl, OK, you have outdone yourself here - excellent timing to capture this symmetry, and both tack sharp. Whites look great, as do their hairdo's, and against a clean BG. Very well captured.

Cheryl, glad your good ol' 40D came to rescue. Great image...the symmetry, the details, composition, BG, whites...very well done. If mine, I'd put them dead center in the frame....the right one's a little too close to the edge, I feel.

Amazing you could capture this full-frame. I'm sure they weren't holding this pose indefinitely. Terrific shot, detail, background. Very well executed.
