This mom hummer was on the branch feeding one of its young when it slipped off and continued feeding while hovering. While some of the leaves are distracting, I thought it was a fairly unusual behavior and wanted comments. Fill flash was not an option since the property owner nixed it or any branch trimming. It was to be shot as is where is.Comments appreciated.

69 views and no comments... That is very frustrating and dissapointing. My take on the image is that it is a great moment captured unfortunately Just a little too distracting with the oof front greens and the missed HAs. Not sure you can do much to fix it so If this were mine I wouldstill keep it and hope to be able to get another chance with better angles.

Agree with Cheryl on all counts, but will add: there is a lovely artfulness here, a sweet softness, and this photo certainly appeals to my sensibilities. Sometimes with action shots we must take what we can get and hope for another chance...If this photo were mine I would be well-pleased indeed and of course, yes, I would welcome further opportunities so as to reach further and higher and deeper into the mysteries of the alar...
