    Manual exposure : spot metered off bird plus 1 2/3
    About 85% of Full Frame

    Photographed last week at St. Augustine Alligator Farm while there for Chas' STL Tech Series.

    Great display and breeding plumage. Did you put a fan behind the bird? :) Maybe a tad tight in the frame.

    It's nice to see a relatively nice bg in a great egret display image. So often I get great displays with ugly bg's. This is pretty nicely blurred if perhaps just a small bit busy.

    A really great display of the nuptial plumes here Mike, enhanced by the soft, dark green BG!!! Nice work!!
