    Default Anna's Hummingbird Nesting

While on a recent trip to Catalina State Park near Tucson, Arizona, I had the pleasure of observing a mama hummingbird nesting. I was able to take a few shots as well.

    Some cropping and post-processing.

My first submission to this forum. C&C welcome.

Hello Mohib and a big welcome to BPN! Sorry for the late response, I was out in the field this weekend. I like how you captured the little Anna's hummer (I think...). The green glow all around adds to the nice habitat look. Your exposure on the bird looks good to me, with well-controlled highlights and nice color rendition. I am curious about the crop, and why you put the nest so far into the lower right corner. I think this one would be nicely framed with a good crop from the top and a corresponding slice from the left. Love the eye contact and head angle, well done! Looking forward to more from you Mohib.
