    Default Canada Goose X "something"?

Spotted this bird while driving around today. Not a good image, only had my old bridge in the car and there was some heavy rain. It was in a small pond north of Quebec City with 3 Canada Geese.

I suspect some kind of hybrid, but I'm far from familiar with hybrids so... Anyone's insight would be appreciated.

Hi P.-A. hard to say. Could be a Canada x domestic white goose cross. It could also be a leucistic bird showing a pied pattern of lack of pigment. This could cause the pink bill.

Is there any sign that could help telling these two apart? Something I should look for if the bird is still around in the next few days?

Domestic Greylag x Canada is a good call, but that bill reminds me of this: http://www.flickr.com/groups/hybridb...7613164871998/
